Pastor Brooks has been the Pastor of the Greater Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church for the past 36 years and married to First Lady Cynthia Brooks for 36 years. They are the parents to the late Crystal Neal and Carinia Hornbuckle. They have four grandchildren, Witness Locke (daughter of Crystal) Catherine, William, and Christopher Hornbuckle (children of William and Carinia Hornbuckle).
